Here at the Academy of Creative Cooking, we follow the philosophy of Epicurus who believed that pleasure was the highest good. He believed that to attain this, you must pursue life modestly while seeking knowledge about the world around us and learning our limits.

We set out daily to increase our knowledge of foods around the world through experiencing all we can and teaching all that we have acquired. We seek out local cooks and chefs who not only understand the local foods but who also are willing to share that information with those who are interested in learning about it. We are humble and expect anyone who joins us to be humble as well.



Since 1937, we have travelled the world experiencing dishes that have tantilised our palates tastebuds and continually brought them back to the US for many of the day’s finest chefs. In 1978 we established our flagship location in the Chrysler Building in New York City. Over the years our academy has grown as also have our cuisine variety.



We now invite chefs from around the world to work with us on both long and short term basis’ to teach our chefs, students and clientele their region’s cuisine. Many will stay with us in the US, while others will partner with the Academy of Creative Cooking to open franchises in their region using our same philosophy and business model.
